Churchill Valley Country Club, is a Private, 18 hole golf course located in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania
The course first opened for play in 1933. James Harrison and Ferdinand Garbin redesigned this course in 1960.
This course has a unique par 3 on hole #13. The 190-yard hole is bordered by woods on one side and a water hazard on the other side. This particular hole was rated as one of the most difficult holes in the surrounding area by the local television station.
Churchill Valley, once the grand club in western Pennsylvania, right behind Oakmont and a few others, closed and went into receivership in January, 2013.
